The Teacher

There is a story about a king in ancient times who wanted to honour a person one who made the greatest contribution to society. All kinds of people came, including doctors and entrepreneurs, and they all presented  their case for receiving the honour. The king wasn't impressed.

Finally an elderly person with a glow on his face walked in and said he was a teacher. The king came down from his throne and bowed to honour the teacher. It is the teacher who makes the highest contribution in shaping the future of society.

When a son gives to his father, both cry.

Ego

The ego cannot survive without judgment.
- A Course in Miracles

Comparisons are odious.
- Old English Saying
A man's pride shall bring him low,
but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.

We take refuge in pride because we are afraid to tell the truth to ourselves.

வளர்ச்சி

நமக்குள்ளேயே அடுத்த தலைமுறையை அடையாளம் காண்பதுதான் முன்னேற்றம்.

Happiness

A man asked - GOD , I want Happiness ,
GOD replied - remove "I" that's ego,
Then remove "Want" that's desire...
See what are U left with only "Happiness"
